PRODUCTION LEAD — SPRINGFIELD, OR

The Level 1 Production Lead assists the Supervisor in daily embroidery production by helping assign work, routing orders, and operating machines such as embroidery, sewing, and heat press equipment. This entry-level leadership role emphasizes quality inspection, maintaining safe work practices, and supporting team efficiency while gaining experience in production coordination.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manages and helps assign production work based on priorities, ship dates, and shipping Methods

· Helps route or close orders

· Ability to operate various machinery within the production department that may include Embroidery machines, sewing machines, heat press, Blocking Etc.

· Helps ensure a “Quality First” mentality when reviewing orders and working with others

· Assists in identifying opportunities to reduce spoilage and improve overall efficiency

· Promotes a culture of Safety and Awareness

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required

· Knowledge of Richardson’s products

· Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to read and interpret product sheets, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools.

DIRECTOR OF SALES - OUTDOOR, REATAIL & BRAND DIVISION — SPRINGFIELD, OR

We’re looking for a dynamic, visionary, and hands-on Director of Sales to lead our Outdoor, Retail, and Brand division. This leader will shape where our brand shows up in the world—and how it shows up—by pairing strong sales acumen with deep cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, brand builder, and roll-up-your-sleeves operator.

This role reports directly to the Senior VP of Sales and works alongside the Sales Operations team and the sales directors of the other divisions.

What You’ll Do

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Work closely with the CEO and SVP of Sales, to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Outdoor, Retail, and Brand division, with a focus on sustainable growth and brand elevation.
  • Mentor and guide the Sales Manager who leads and supports the outside sales force, and the National Account Manager who sells to and supports key house accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national retailers and key accounts across the outdoor and specialty retail landscape.
  • Identify new market opportunities and guide the brand into the right retail environments that create fans, not just customers.

Cross-Functional Brand Building

  • Partner closely with Product, Merchandising, and Art to create a unified vision for how the brand shows up in the marketplace.
  • Influence product direction and merchandising assortments based on market insights and retailer needs.
  • Ensure the brand is represented with excellence—from trade show booths to in-store displays to digital presentations.

Sales Tools & Market Enablement

  • Lead the development of market-specific sales tools including:
  • Sample strategies
  • Catalogs and lookbooks
  • Merchandising assortments for trade shows
  • Curated, easy-to-shop assortments for diverse retail environments
  • Ensure the sales team has the tools, training, and insights needed to win in each market.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a young, energetic team of internal sales support, account managers, and sales managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, collaboration and customer-centric thinking.
  • Model a “no job too small” mindset—comfortable thinking big and also jumping in to process an order when needed.

Required Experience

WAREHOUSE PORTER — HOUSTON, TX

The Warehouse Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep throughout the warehouse and adjoining facilities. This role ensures that all areas—including restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common spaces—are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The Porter may also assist with light handyman or maintenance tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empty and replace trash bins throughout the warehouse, office, and breakroom areas on a regular schedule.
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
  • Clean and maintain breakrooms and kitchen areas, including wiping down tables, counters, and appliances, and restocking supplies.
  • Clean office areas, including vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and ensuring tidy workspaces.
  • Sweep, mop, and spot-clean warehouse floors and entryways as needed.

Richardson Sports is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Springfield, Oregon. This role is responsible for supervising daily production operations while leading, developing, and supporting a team in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The Production Supervisor works closely with the Production Manager and other department leaders to ensure production goals are met while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and employee engagement.

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who leads by example, understands manufacturing workflows, and is comfortable working across multiple production departments. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, enforcing safety and quality standards, and fostering a positive team culture aligned with Richardson Sports’ commitment to craftsmanship, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

 · Assist the Production Manager and fellow Department Supervisors in continuously improving production systems, including production control, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety programs, quality standards, and performance management processes.

· Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and established safety protocols, and actively promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

· Foster effective employee relations by providing coaching, training, and development; make day-to-day employment decisions; and address employee concerns through timely and professional problem resolution.

· Balance quality, productivity, cost control, safety, and team morale to achieve departmental goals and drive continuous improvement.

· Manage departmental performance metrics (KPIs), track progress against goals, and provide regular status updates and reports to the Production Manager.

· Learn and support all aspects of production operations including Embroidery, Cap Factory, Heat Press, and Laser Etching in order to provide effective leadership and coverage as needed (training provided).

· Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and absenteeism, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to company policies.

· Support cross-department collaboration to ensure on-time production, consistent quality, and efficient workflow.

· Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or GED required.

· One to three years of related supervisory or production experience and/or equivalent training required.

· Experience working with ERP, WMS, CRM, or Work Order Management systems preferred.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (e.g., Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, email, basic reporting).

· Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
