Job Description

Role Overview

Provide leadership and technical expertise to ensure Richardson Sports’ technology systems operate efficiently, securely, and cost-effectively. Oversee IT support, telecommunications, and network infrastructure so employees can make the most of their tools. Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to meet both current and future needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team: Develop and support the IT crew, provide advanced technical guidance, and handle escalated issues.
  • Maintain the field: Oversee installation and upkeep of computer hardware, software, and networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, remote access).
  • Keep the signals clear: Ensure reliable server and network operations.
  • Manage communications: Oversee telecommunications and VOIP systems; coordinate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
  • Support the clubhouse: Keep video conferencing and A/V systems ready for meetings, training, and company use.
  • Track the equipment: Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and licenses; manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and warranties.
  • Play by the rules: Ensure compliance with licensing, agreements, and IT security standards.
  • Team up across departments: Collaborate to support building systems (security, HVAC, access control) and Richardson Data Center operations.
  • Stay on budget: Assist in developing and managing the IT budget.
  • Scout new talent (technologies): Research and recommend tools that support organizational goals.
  • Step in as needed: Complete special projects assigned by the VP of Technology.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5+ years working with hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac), and productivity software.
  • 5+ years of networking experience (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Wi-Fi) including remote support.
  • Experience managing business systems (ERP, reporting tools, warehouse management systems).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Customer-service orientation with the ability to train and support staff.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of vendor management and purchasing.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS a plus).

QUALITY CONTROL TRIMMER/TAGGER — SPRINGFIELD, OR

The Quality Control Trimmer/Tagger supports production by inspecting, trimming, tagging, and preparing products to meet company quality standards. This role is responsible for identifying defects, ensuring materials and finished goods conform to specifications. The position requires routine trimming of threads and labeling. The role demands attention to detail, use of basic measuring tools, and adherence to quality and safety procedures in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Follows trimming guidelines, which include but not limited to, tearing out backing, removing foam, pick out/push in foam on 3D decorations, and thread trimming
· Inspects and reports defective materials or questionable decorations based on work orders and design sheets
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
· Tags, Bags and labels orders based on any VAS (Value Added Services) Orders.
· Compares product with work order to ensure completion and accuracy
· Keeps Work area clean of clutter.
· Take ownership of tool kits signed out.

PRODUCTION SEWER LEVEL 1 & 2 — SPRINGFIELD, OR

The Sewer is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality specialty stitch products, primarily decorating caps with patches and other materials. This role ensures accuracy by following design sheets and work orders, while maintaining consistent quality and throughput. Duties include threading and adjusting machines, performing routine maintenance, and detecting defective materials. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly across different lines and tasks. Success in this role is measured by production quality, spoilage levels, and efficiency in meeting throughput standards.

· Operates various industrial sewing machines
· Sew decorations on caps, including patches made of leather, cloth or other material
· Using design sheet as reference, ensure that all orders coincide with work orders
· Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the shift supervisor
· Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
· Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required by the Facilities Coordinator and Production Manager
· Familiarity with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above
· Thread machine –must be able to adjust tension and threads and perform basic machine adjustments.
· Ability to meet production quality and throughput. Level 1-2 based on Spoilage and throughput.
